Best College in Urban Area Award
With its unique blend of the old with the new, its old colonial ambience with the modern state-of-the art facilities, it is no wonder that the College received the first ever Foundation Day award of the University of Pune in February 2002, for being the Best College in Urban area. The award is all the more significant since Pune University decided to institute the Foundation Day Award in 2002 under its Quality Improvement Programme. With several premier institutions, many older than ours to compete with, Nowrosjee Wadia College was the FIRST to receive this highest award and recognition.

Accredited “A” Grade by NAAC

The college was accredited with the “A” grade by NAAC in 2003.

The faculty at Nowrosjee Wadia College participates in a wide range of activities beyond their academic and research commitments. Their contributions to the deliberations of various national and state level committees have been significant. Actively involved in the Institute’s extension activities such as continuing education, workshops and conferences, faculty members individually, and as interdisciplinary teams, are the backbone of the research Programs of the Institute.
